By using EduPlay, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account information: username and email address (if you sign in).
• Profile settings: avatar selection and grade band preferences.
• Customer support: information you share if you contact us for help.

1.2 Information collected through app usage

• Gameplay and progress data: scores, accuracy, time spent, XP, coins, streaks, achievements, and game results.
• Technical data: basic device and app information (such as app version and operating system) needed to run and maintain the App.

1.3 Subscription and purchases

• Subscription status: whether you have Premium and (if applicable) an expiration time.
• Payments are processed by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

1.4 Information we do not collect

• Precise or coarse location
• Contacts/address book
• Photos, videos, or audio recordings
• Health or fitness data
• Sensitive personal information (as defined by applicable law)
• Advertising data or cross-app tracking data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App (accounts, gameplay, progress, leaderboards)
• Maintain and improve performance, reliability, and user experience
• Enable Premium features and verify subscription status
• Prevent abuse and protect the security of our users and services
• Respond to support requests

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share information only as needed to operate the App:

• Service providers: we use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions.
• Legal and safety reasons: if required by law or to protect our users, the public, or our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining your account and progress, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

EduPlay is designed for learning. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country, please use EduPlay with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• Access and update: you can update some profile details inside the App.
• Account deletion: you can delete your account in the App under Profile → Delete Account.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own depending on where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect your information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
